At Doll Bros., we have been cleaning furniture for over 4 decades and we have developed a 4 step furniture cleaning process many years ago that produces excellent results. We have cleaned thousand(s) of furniture items for our customers that removes the maximum amount of debris possible. Of all the fabric types and material that the industry produces there is only one fabric type that we do not clean and that is pure cotton. We have found out through experience that cotton produces more hazards in cleaning than any other material and it is fabric that we choose not to clean and we will just refer you to another business. Although I will say, there are not many in our industry that choose to clean cotton either – the reason – most cotton fabrics have tiny seeds that remain in the finished material and if agitated the wrong way, they explode and cause a browning of the fabric – this is a nightmare to remove. With all of that said, it is rare that customers have this fabric type (hatian, egyptian or chinx cotton). This is extremely expensive furniture.
Our furniture cleaning process includes Stain-Guard Fabric Protector at no additional cost;
So lets go back to the photo and discuss this and our 4 step furniture cleaning process. This piece of furniture is a 6 piece sectional that is 5 years old and has never been cleaned. While we were at our customers home in Clearwater, Fl. performing our 9 step Carpet Dry Cleaning process that she initially scheduled – We couldn’t help but notice the condition of this sectional so we handed her our brochure on furniture cleaning to let her know of this service. After we gave her an estimate, she instructed us to clean it.
After we apply the cleaner, we use a brush (nylon or horsehair depending on the fabric type) to work the cleaner into the material. Then we use an extraction machine to remove the dirt, debris, body oils and dander and then after this we deodorize and apply the Stain-Guard fabric protector. In the photo, the side on the left is the finished job after we removed the debris – our customer was just thrilled with the results.
